The Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB) announced the reappointment of Dr. Mitchell Levine of Hamilton, Ontario as Vice-chairperson of the Board for a second five-year term. Dr. Levine is a Professor in the departments of Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University and Director of the Centre for Evaluation of Medicines at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. He was first appointed Vice-chairperson of the PMPRB in March 2011.  He will also act as the PMPRB Chairperson until such time as a new Chairperson is appointed.
