About Ron Goeree

Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Goeree spent more than 30 years as a professor and economic researcher at McMaster University, where he currently holds the distinction of Professor Emeritus. His most recent prior position was in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

Mr. Goeree is well-regarded as a national and international expert in drug and device reimbursement submissions. He brings more than 15 years of experience working as an external reviewer with the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health’s (CADTH) Common Drug Review (CDR) program; and 10 years working with the Ontario Public Drug Program (OPDP). Mr. Goeree has served on over 150 national and international Advisory Boards for pharmaceutical companies and has published over 500 books, chapters, articles and abstracts in Health Technology Assessment (HTA). In addition to his advisory work, Mr. Goeree is also co-editor of Value in Health, the official journal of ISPOR, and is an editorial board member of the Journal of Medical Economics.
